Queensland Resources Council – the peak body for Queensland’s minerals and energy sector, including mine closure, rehabilitation and post-mining land use policy.
Trusted partners delivering valued solutions together.
For each site we assemble a consortium of specialist firms in engineering, construction, environmental science, planning, law, insurance and finance, brought together by Virentia in one integrated technical, commercial and financial solution. Each partner is carefully selected: expert in its field, proven in delivery, and engaged to a defined scope that keeps risk managed.
Vendors, government, offtakers, investors, Traditional Owners and community deal with Virentia alone, and accountability for the outcome stays with us. Delivery, cost overrun and long-tail risk are priced across the consortium and the insurance suite together.
Our strategic partners anchor each consortium: national and global firms in engineering, construction, law and environmental science, each with a track record on complex sites and each known to the regulators, financiers and communities whose confidence a project depends on.

Renewable Energy Partners (REP) is Virentia’s sister company, founded by Luke McDonald and Sebastian Burgman, and its partner on energy projects. Virentia brings the land and the civil platform; REP brings utility-scale development capability across solar, wind, pumped hydro and battery storage, with a pipeline of more than 10 GW.
Virentia is a member of the industry bodies that set the standards and shape the policy we work within.
